Features

Built for FCC Part 15 and CISPR 32 Conducted Emissions Verification

Conducted reference signal source for LISN-based test setups — verifies the entire conducted emissions measurement chain (LISN, cabling, transient limiter, EMI receiver) in minutes between formal calibrations.

Frequency Range: 100 kHz to 115 MHz

Starts just below the 150 kHz CISPR conducted band lower limit, covering FCC Part 15 and CISPR 32 / EN 55032 conducted measurement ranges with margin at both ends.

User-Selectable 100 kHz or 500 kHz Step Size

Choose 100 kHz for higher-resolution baseline data near the band edge, or 500 kHz for sparser, faster sweeps with cleaner spectral lines that are easier to identify individually on the EMI receiver display.

High Impedance — Safe with Powered LISNs up to 230 V

High impedance to external line voltage (AC or DC up to 230 V) allows the CGC-510E to be used while the LISN is connected to an external power source — no need to disconnect mains between verification checks.

Direct Plug-In to LISN EUT Power Port

Standard NEMA 15-P type connector plugs directly into the EUT power socket on the LISN; adapters allow connection to other socket types worldwide.

Simulates an EUT Generating Conducted EMI Noise

Replicates real-device operating conditions, allowing verification of LISN impedance, RF cabling, transient limiter, and EMI receiver under realistic loading.

Battery Operation: 18+ Hours per Charge

Internal 6 V / 1 Ah NiMH battery eliminates external power leads that could couple noise into the conducted measurement. Charger output: 6 VDC (unregulated) at 500 mA.

Stable, Repeatable RF Output

50 ppm frequency stability, ±0.1 dB amplitude stability, and less than 1 dB time stability over 12 months — allows direct comparison of measurements taken months apart with confidence.

Compact Form Factor

5 × 2.2 × 2.2″ (13.2 × 5.9 × 5.9 cm), 1 lb (0.45 kg) — plug-and-go form factor that integrates with the LISN setup without occupying bench space.

External LED Indicators

Battery Low and Power On LEDs confirm operating status at a glance during routine verification — no need to interrupt a test session to verify the unit is active.

NIST-Traceable Calibration

Calibration data and certificate ship with each unit. ISO 17025 accredited calibration is available on request for laboratories requiring full accreditation chain documentation.

Three-Year Standard Warranty

Three-year standard warranty backed by manufacturer support.
